RollingStar® security threads are Louisenthal's widely-adopted embedded security feature that combines ColourShift and micromirror technologies to create dynamic, optically variable effects in banknotes. Core technology:
The feature integrates two key security technologies: ColourShift thin-film technology and millions of micromirrors per square centimeter, whose origination is defined by highly complex algorithms. This combination produces unique optically variable and dynamic effects with vivid colors that change when the banknote is tilted.
